Hydrasun Kids Euro Tournament 2012
As the European Championships kick off in Poland and Ukraine, Aberdeen Sports Village will capture the sheer enjoyment of football with our own ASV tournament. Following the success of last year’s tournament, this year promises to be bigger and better. Running from the 12th to the 21st June, our tournament will offer your aspiring stars of the future an opportunity to play in a 7 a-side tournament in one of the best indoor venues in Scotland.
Teams will play in the group stages, hopefully progressing to the knockouts and perhaps the final itself. All participants will receive a goodie courtesy of our sponsors Hydrasun.
There will be tournaments in the following age groups:
Under 9’s and Primary 4’s - Tueday 12th June & Thursday 21st June
Under 10’s and Primary 5’s - Wednesday 13th June
Under 11s’s and Primary 6’s - Thursday 14th June
Under 12’s and Primary 7’s - Wednesday 20th June
Matches will be played from 6pm and will finish no later than 9pm (8.30pm for the Primary 5's and under).
The cost is £30 per team and this will guarantee you a minimum of 4 games of 10 minutes each. Entry is strictly on a first come first served basis, and the attached entry form and cheque should be sent to Aberdeen Sports Village, Linksfield Road, Aberdeen. AB24 5RU. ASV endorses the SFA's policy on fair play and trophy free football for Under 13s. The winners received a couple of free sessions in our pitch over the summer and there were spot prizes for fair play and sportsmanship.
