Top Kenyan athletes will mix with local runners of all ages at the Aberdeen Sports Village Mile meeting on Saturday 22nd August.

The historic event is being held as part of the open day to mark the opening of the multi-million pound state-of-the art new facility in Aberdeen's Linksfield Road.

Also, teams of four men and women will take part in a special relay in which they'll attempt to break the mile world record.
