StreetSport
ASV works in conjunction with RGU StreetSport Project to create more opportunities for local children to participate in sport.
Aberdeen Sports Village is working closely with RGU's StreetSport project to bring multi-sports activities to children living in the local area.
StreetSport utilises a mobile multi-use pitch and outdoor spaces to run free Street Football, Touch Rugby, Basketball, Art and Hockey throughtout the city for 10 - 19 year-olds.
The next block of sessions begins tonight and runs through until the 16th December 2011 at the following locations:
Monday : Inchgarth Community Centre, Garthdee 7pm – 9pm
Tuesday: Riverbank Primary School, Dill Road, Tillydrone 7pm – 9pm
Wednesday: Northfield Acadmey 7pm – 9pm
Wednesday: St Fitticks community Park, Torry 7pm – 9pm
Thursday: Various venues in Cove and Kincorth with Blue Horizon Bus 7pm – 9pm
Thursday: Northfield Community Centre, Byron Square 7pm – 9pm (beginning 27th October).
Friday: Dyce Primary School with Dyce RedBus 7pm - 9pm (first Friday of each month excluding November where the session will be held on the 11th).
There is no need to book a space, just turn up and have fun!
