With a heavy heart, Aberdeen Sports Village has made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 Baker Hughes Aberdeen Running Festival. While a difficult decision, it is the right one which we are sure all our runners will understand and support.
The decision to postpone needs no explanation as the world fights to slow down the spread of the Coronavirus and save lives. This long-standing community event will survive and indeed thrive in 2021 and beyond, and when the time is right we will share our ambitious plans for 2021 which will be bigger and better than ever!
All the athletes and runners who registered for 2020 will be refunded automatically and we will look forward to your entry in 2021. For the moment, the most important thing is to stay safe and for those of us who need that running fix, a gentle reminder that there are many good home workouts available.
