
The perfect programme for teens
Our Teen Fitness programme provides a massive variety of sport and exercise opportunities where teens can develop fitness and improve their skills in sport. Participating in sport and physical activity enables young people to gain confidence as they transition into adulthood!
With clear guidance on how to use a range of equipment from treadmills and rowing machines, to bikes, cross trainers and fixed resistance equipment – teens will feel confident in no time.
Teen Fitness Classes
A timetable of our Teen Gym sessions & group exercise classes suitable for those aged 12 - 15 years. All sessions & classes are free for ASV members and £4.20 for non-members.
Teen Body Balance
BODYBALANCE™ is the Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centred and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance. This class is specifically designed for Teen's 12 - 15yrs old.
Teen Body Balance is available Thursday evenings from 17:40 - 18:20 beginning 6th October.
Teen Fitbar
For teenagers wanting to learn how to correctly use a barbell and gain confidence with resistance training in a small group environment. Similar to BodyPump, learn how to squat, lunge, push and pull in a fun and safe class.
Teen Fitbar is available Thursday afternoons from 16:00 - 16:45 beginning 6th October.
Teen Gym
Our Teen Gym sessions are available for an hour a day, every day! With supervision by our certified trainers, these sessions give teens the opportunity to keep fit while discovering a range of exercise options.
Teen Gym is currently available:
Monday to Friday 16:00 - 17:00
Saturday & Sunday 10:00 - 11:00
Teen HIT
A 30-minute varied high intensity interval style class for teens. Use equipment & your own bodyweight in our state-of-the-art Performance Studio to push your body to the limit. No class will be the same, ensuring that your body will continue to adapt and ‘HIT’ new levels of fitness.
Teen Hit is available Thursday evenings from 17:00 - 17:30 beginning 6th October.
Teen Studio Cycling
Specifically designed for teens, get ready to have fun and boost your cardio fitness level in this high energy class!
Open to those aged 12 - 15 years, this class is suitable for all levels of fitness.
Teen Studio Cycling is available Friday evenings from 18.15 - 19.00
Teen Weightlifting
This class is designed specifically for teens, to help build functional strength by lifting free weights. Learn a range of weightlifting movements using dumbbells and barbells.
Open to those aged 12 - 15 years, this class is suitable for all levels of fitness & ability.
Teen Weightlifting is available Tuesday evenings from 18.00 - 18.45
Important information
First time at ASV? Everyone who is looking to take part in their first Teen session is required to bring photographic ID as proof of age.
This will be requested at reception.
