Menopause can have a major impact on your life - which is no surprise as there are lots of changes your body goes through during peri-menopause and menopause!

These changes are completely normal but can be overwhelming, and you may find yourself wanting to change your exercise, nutrition, or other lifestyle habits in order to better manage your symptoms and feel empowered as you go through menopause.

With ASV's 4-week Menopause Course, you'll not only learn what exercises work best for you, you'll also benefit from discussion and Q&A sessions that cover a range of topics in a safe, accessible, and empowering environment.

This course includes...

Our Menopause Course is a combination of group exercise sessions, followed by a Q&A and discussion.

Each week you will have an hour-long group training session in our private performance studio, tailored to your fitness ability and adaptable to your energy levels that day!

This is followed by a 30-minute Q&A and discussion:

  • Week 1: benefits of different types of exercise throughout menopause
  • Week 2: nutrition and dietary discussion
  • Week 3: lifestyle and well-being tips for continuing to improve your menopause journey
  • Week 4: conclusion/review and what happens next? Discussion of goals and how we can support your journey further

You'll work with Tracy, one of our highly-qualified personal trainers and group exercise instructors, throughout this course.

Along with over 16 years of experience in the fitness industry, Tracy knows first-hand how going through menopause can affect each aspect of your life, and is passionate about coaching women through this time in their lives.

Information

Our 4 week course runs as follows:

  • From Tuesday 7th February - 28th February (inclusive)
  • 17:00 - 18:30 in our Performance Studio and Seminar Room
    • 17:00 - 18:00 Performance Studio (exercise class)
    • 18:00 - 18:30 Seminar Room (Q&A/discussion)

This course is £40 for non members. ASV members enjoy a 15% discount which will be applied at check-out.

There will also be an open evening on Tuesday 24th January at 18:00 where you can learn more about the course, and ask Tracy any questions you may have!

This open evening is free of charge.
