Last week the First Minister announced that the country has moved into Phase 2 of the Scottish Government’s Route map. This means that from next week outdoor sports centres and outdoor sports courts can begin to reopen. (We are not yet permitted to open the inside facilities at ASV, such as our pools, gym, football pitch etc).
We are therefore delighted that we will soon be able to start a phased reopening, beginning with our outdoor facilities. This will be gradual, cautious and closely aligned to Scottish Government and Sportscotland guidance.
Most importantly the safety of you and our staff will be at the heart of this. Social distancing restrictions will mean that our capacity will be reduced (initially at least), but this is a really important first step to welcoming members, clubs and customers back to our wonderful facilities – we have missed you!
