I have now been working in the fitness industry for over 10 years. In this time my knowledge has grown, the way I program classes and client content has changed vastly and the variety of opportunities within my role have greatly evolved. Continuing my professional development has been the key and will continue to be so in the future so that I can continue to help make a positive impact on people’s lives.
I enjoy working with people who are committed to making positive change whether it is for their fitness, health or even their chosen sport. During the last 10 years I have been fortunate enough to work across this broad range of goals and help members achieve their goals and set new ones. If I can help make a difference to your health & well-being, your respective sport or the shape you are in then please approach me or send me an email.
Strength & Conditioning – Helping athletes improve their sporting performance has become a larger part of my role across the last five years. I am continuously looking to improve as a Coach and Trainer and the S&C focus has brought about that challenge – it’s a lot like solving a jigsaw puzzle!
I have worked with local triathletes, runners and several Aberdeen University sports teams across the last few years, helping both teams and individuals to balance out their strengths and weakness.
I am an avid fan of getting outdoors and using your fitness away from the gym. I plan to walk of Scotland’s 282 Munro’s and currently have over 70 bagged. There is still a long way to go but it is certainly an enjoyable task!
Get outdoors! We spend so much time indoors day-to-day from time both at home and at work. So, it may be cliché but park the car a little further away than your usual spot, go for that lunch time walk you’ve been planning to – you would need a crazy abundance of fresh air and Vitamin D for it to hurt you and all those steps will certainly add up to an easy way to keep healthy and happy.
