About

I have always been a sports fanatic and over the past few years I have been developing my knowledge and experience to ensure that sport and fitness is an even bigger part of my life.

I love getting outside, and especially enjoy a bit of hiking and fishing. I spent a lot of my youth wandering around the Isle of Skye in the pouring rain, getting soaked while I explored the hills and jumped in the streams - my idea of heaven.

Special Interest

Fitness in sport is a huge interest of mine. This includes developing skills and strengths to improve performance and ability in different sports within my own workouts and when training others.

I also enjoy coaching Athletics to the younger generation and incorporating this into other programmes for older clients.

The power of exercise with regards to mental health is a massive interest to me as I have seen the positive impact it can have so many times. – Looking after your mind is just as important as your body.

Interesting Fact

I am 6 foot 4, and yes - the weather is good up here!

Fitness tip

It's so easy to focus on the negative and forget about the positive, but don’t be hard on yourself when you hit a speed bump…everyone does!
