What is personal training?

Personal training at Aberdeen Sports Village offers one-to-one coaching designed to help you get the most out of your time in the gym. Whether you’re new to exercise or looking to take your training further, our experienced trainers will support you every step of the way in our newly refurbished gym with state-of-the-art equipment.

Each session is tailored to your goals and may include:

  • 1-to-1 coaching
  • A personalised training programme
  • Guidance and support throughout your sessions
  • Nutritional advice
  • Follow-up support by email if required

Where your fitness journey begins

All new members receive a free 30-minute Personal Training taster session.

This introductory session gives you the chance to experience what personal training is like, understand how it can support your fitness goals, and see the benefits of working with a trainer compared with training on your own.

Our personal trainers can educate, advise and motivate you, whether you are new to exercise or looking to take your training to the next level. They can help you build confidence in the gym, improve your technique, and develop a training routine that works for you, while offering guidance on nutrition and lifestyle habits that support your overall health and fitness goals.

You can book a single one-hour session or a block of 4 or 8 sessions with the same trainer, scheduled at a time that suits you and tailored to your goals.

Your free Personal Training taster session must be used within three months of joining.

Personal Training is available in flexible formats to suit your lifestyle, including single sessions or blocks of 4 or 8 sessions.
