Aberdeen Amateur Athletic Club has been named Janice Eaglesham MBE Para Development Club of the Year 2025 by Scottish Athletics at the 4J Annual Awards in Glasgow, recognising the club’s commitment to inclusive participation and athlete development.
Based at Aberdeen Sports Village, the club supports athletes across track and field, with a particular focus on creating opportunities within para-athletics. In 2025, Aberdeen AAC delivered 269 one-hour community sessions, welcomed 209 children across nine holiday camps, and supported athletes who went on to win 68 Scottish national medals.
The club’s success reflects the dedication of its coaches, volunteers and athletes, and its mission to create an environment where people can achieve their potential in sport and in life.
We are proud to support Aberdeen Amateur Athletic Club and congratulate everyone involved on this well-deserved national recognition.
