Through the Giving Tree 2025 campaign, members and supporters came together to support children and families across the North East who rely on access to sport, physical activity and community programmes.
In total, £991.50, including Gift Aid, was raised for charitable initiatives at Aberdeen Sports Village. These donations are already supporting programmes that many children and families depend on. Continued charitable support is essential to keep these initiatives running and to support more people.
Where your donations are making a difference
Funds raised through the Giving Tree will support several initiatives that deliver direct and immediate benefit to children across the region:

ASV Energisers: Supporting 94 children to access a free sport or Learn to Swim session, alongside 122 weeks of free sporting activity and 126 hot meals for children attending the programme.

Nursery Swimming Lessons: Funding swimming lessons for three nursery-aged children, helping young pupils gain confidence in the water and develop essential safety skills at an early stage.

Home of Community Sport: Enabling 93 children to take part in free sport during the school day, ensuring access to activity regardless of family circumstances.
For many families, these opportunities would not be possible without charitable support. While every donation makes a difference, the number of children currently supported also reflects how much these programmes rely on continued funding to grow and meet increasing demand.

As a charitable organisation, we reinvest every penny back into sport, health and wellbeing. Community programmes such as these rely heavily on donations and sponsorship to continue operating.
