Making Waves: ASV’s New Year Initiative to Support Local Children

At ASV, we believe that sport changes lives—but not every child has the same opportunity to take part. That’s why, as we step into 2025, we’re launching a powerful new initiative, working hand-in-hand with local charities to remove barriers to participation and create life-changing opportunities for children in our community.

We’re proud to collaborate with All Life Chances (ALC) and Barnardo’s to provide free swimming lessons to children from Tillydrone—a vital step in ensuring they gain confidence, learn essential water safety skills, and experience the joy of swimming in a safe and supportive environment at ASV.

This initiative goes beyond just lessons—it’s about making sport truly accessible. Thanks to this partnership, children will receive:

✅ Free swimming lessons with expert coaches
✅ Free transport to and from ASV
✅ Free swimwear so every child can take part without worry

For many, this will be their first-ever swimming experience, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of their journey. Through sport, they’ll build determination, resilience, and confidence—all while having fun in the water!
