Important Notes
*Deep Water Lane Swimming – Important Safety Information
- The 50m pool is 2 metres deep throughout – there is no shallow water or standing area.
- This session is strictly for competent, experienced swimmers only
- To take part, you must be able to:
- Swim at least 100 metres continuously using a recognised stroke
- Maintain forward progress in a lane environment without stopping
- Remain comfortable and in control in deep water at all times
- This session is not suitable for weak, inexperienced or non-confident swimmers.
Lane capacity is limited to 8 swimmers per 25m lane and 15 swimmers per 50m lane.
Under 8s will not be permitted in water deeper than 1.35m.
No children under 8 years are permitted into public lane sessions.
Fast, medium and slow lanes will be available for all lane sessions. A minimum of 3 public lanes will be available during busy times unless otherwise stated.

- Wee Swimmers (Pre-School): Develop core aquatic skills and independent movement through play in our Wee Swimmers program.
- Junior: Take your child’s swimming to the next level with a varied and progressive program.
- Adult: Opportunities for adults to participate in swimming, for all abilities.
- Evergreens: Stay active, enjoy the water and build confidence in our program designed for over 60s.
