The recent Table Tennis Scottish Championships held in Jersey at the end of March highlighted how ASV nurtures young athletes, providing them with the coaching, support, and opportunities needed to excel at the highest level.

Our junior table tennis athletes stepped up to the challenge, delivering outstanding performances across multiple age categories. The U14 events saw Dean Robertson and Kiishi Adekola crowned champions, with Victor Chen finishing as runner-up in the boys’ competition. Nikki Mo secured a well-earned third-place finish in the girls' event, proving that dedication and the right guidance go a long way.

Maja Wojcicka continued her reign in the U16 girls' category, successfully defending her title with an unbeaten record. Her closest match was a hard-fought 3-1 victory over runner-up Nichole Lee. The U16 boys' competition was fiercely contested, with a countback required to determine places three through five. Jakub Krzyzostaniak was thrilled to secure third place, finishing ahead of Connor Cadden and Mathew Pszonka. Ben Hart and Joe Mulhern claimed first and second place, respectively, showing that ASV’s commitment to structured training and mentorship is paying off.

In the U18 boys' category, ASV athletes dominated, with Daniel Tibbetts securing the Scottish title, closely followed by Allan He in second place. Ben Stewart also delivered an impressive performance, finishing in fourth place and further demonstrating the strength of ASV’s player development pathway.

These achievements are a testament to the tireless efforts of our coaching team—Max Singer, Natalie Gallan, Donald Pirie, and Catherine Inverarity—who dedicate their time and expertise to shaping the future of our young athletes. At ASV, we go beyond training; we instill confidence, resilience, and a love for sport in every child who walks through our doors.

Through our youth programs, we create an environment where kids can dream big and achieve their goals, no matter their starting point. Every donation helps us continue our mission of making sports accessible and inspiring the next generation.
