A huge congratulations to Kirsty Muir on a remarkable performance in the women’s freeski slopestyle at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Kirsty delivered a brilliant final run, scoring 76.05 points to finish fourth – just 0.41 points shy of the podium in a world-class final at Livigno Snow Park.

Her journey to this moment makes the performance even more impressive. After competing through injury in previous seasons, Kirsty returned from ACL and shoulder surgery in 2024 to claim multiple World Cup wins and major titles in 2025, earning her place among Team GB’s medal contenders.

We’re proud to share that Kirsty was supported between 2016 and 2018 by the Dr Hellen Reith Trust, helping her through key development years as she worked towards the highest level of her sport.

Kirsty is coached by Sports Institute Scotland, with training delivered at Aberdeen Sports Village facilities.

Her story is a powerful example of how early backing, opportunity and community support can help athletes turn potential into world-class performance.

With the women’s freeski Big Air qualification coming up on Saturday, Kirsty has another chance this weekend to chase Olympic success - and we’ll be cheering her every step of the way.

Well done, Kirsty, we’re excited to see what’s still to come!
