Nine-year-old kickboxer Aurora has returned from the WAKO Youth World Championships in Italy with two World Championship silver medals.
Aurora, who trains with Nemesis Kickboxing and is supported by the Dr Hellen Reith Trust, travelled to Italy to represent Team GB against young kickboxers from around the world.
She returned home with quite the result, securing silver in her individual event before adding another silver medal in the team fighting competition.
The Dr Hellen Reith Trust, managed by Aberdeen Sports Village, provides financial assistance to individuals who may face challenges continuing their sport due to financial constraints.
Aurora is one of the young athletes supported by the Trust, helping her continue to train, compete and pursue opportunities in her sport.
To represent Team GB on the world stage at just nine years old is an incredible achievement in itself – and to come home with two World Championship silver medals makes it even more special.
A huge congratulations to Aurora!
