Congratulations to Erin Henderson, a member of our operations team at ASV, who played at Hampden Park in the Scottish Gas Women’s Scottish Cup Semi Final on Sunday 3 May.
Representing Montrose FC Women, Erin was part of the team that took on current cup holders Rangers in a challenging fixture. Montrose showed great organisation and resilience throughout, competing well against one of the top sides in the country and making them work hard for the result.
Despite the 2–0 scoreline, the performance earned praise, with Rangers recognising the challenge Montrose posed, while manager Craig Feroz highlighted his pride in the team’s efforts on the national stage.
Playing at Hampden Park in a national semi-final is a fantastic achievement and a memorable experience.
Great to see Erin involved at this level - something to be hugely proud of. Well done to Erin and Montrose FC Women.
