As part of our ongoing mission to make sport and football accessible to everyone in our community, ASV was thrilled to deliver another inspiring ASV Matchday Experience, this time in collaboration with Aberdeen Football Club (AFC) and The Archie Foundation.
On Friday, 26th April, a group of incredible youngsters supported by The Archie Foundation enjoyed a day they won’t soon forget all completely free of charge. The day began at ASV, where the children got into fun activities, including squash matches and football games on our state-of-the-art indoor pitch. For many, it was their first time experiencing these sports in such top-class facilities, and the smiles said it all!
After working up an appetite for excitement, the group made their way to Pittodrie Stadium to join the Red Army and watch Aberdeen take on Hibernian. The kids were buzzing to see their local heroes in action, and the energy at Pittodrie was matched only by the thrill of seeing Dons secure a well-deserved win!
This special day was just one example of how ASV works with partners like AFC and local charities to open up sport and physical activity to those who might not otherwise have the chance. Our ASV Matchday Experience is designed to break down barriers and make unforgettable memories for families, children, and community groups across Aberdeen and the North East.

This entire experience was offered at no cost to the families involved and made possible through the dedication of our team, the generosity of Aberdeen Football Club’s Aberdeen4All programme, and our ongoing community partnerships.
