There’s something truly special about watching young talent grow from their very first jump off the board to standing proudly on the podium representing their country. At ASV, we’ve seen that journey up close through our close-knit community and incredible partners like Aberdeen Diving Club.
This summer, we’re celebrating the success of two phenomenal young athletes - Olivia Leslie and Noah Penman, who have just earned international selections following standout performances at the British Junior Elite Diving Championships.
At just 13 years old, Olivia made a splash in her first-ever Junior Elites, winning gold on the 1m in the Female 12–13 years category and narrowly missing a second medal on the 3m, placing fourth. A stunning debut that shows just how bright her future is!
Meanwhile, 18-year-old Noah wrapped up his junior diving journey in spectacular style, becoming Junior National Champion on both the 1m and Platform, while also picking up a bronze on the 3m. As he now prepares to step up to the senior level, Noah leaves the Junior Elites as one of the club’s most decorated young divers.
Thanks to these brilliant results:
- Noah will represent Team GB for the third year in a row at the 2025 European Junior Diving Championships in Greece.
- Olivia has been selected to represent Scotland at the Roma Cup in Italy this June, joining nine other divers from across the UK and she’s the only Scot on the team.
These achievements aren’t just about medals. They’re a testament to years of hard work, the dedication of coaches, supportive families, and the nurturing environment at ASV. We’re proud to provide a space where young people can find their passion, build confidence, and reach their potential in and out of the pool.
ASV is more than just a sports facility — we’re a charitable organisation with a mission to make sport and physical activity accessible to all. From providing top-class facilities to supporting grassroots clubs like Aberdeen Diving Club, your support helps keep our community thriving.
Every donation makes a difference. Whether it’s helping to fund pool time for young divers, maintain our facilities, or offer community sports programmes, your contribution ensures that we can continue to support the next generation of athletes — just like Olivia and Noah.
So whether you're cheering from the stands, volunteering, or making a donation — thank you for being part of the ASV family. Here's to more dives, dreams, and future champions!
