At ASV, we believe sport is for everyone - no matter your age, background or ability. That’s why we were so proud to host the Hermes Juvenile FC Easter Disability Football Camp, right here at ASV during the school holidays.
Organised in partnership with the Scottish Football Association and Scottish Gas, the week-long camp welcomed 20 children each day, giving them the chance to get active, build confidence, and most importantly have fun.
Every child received an hour of engaging, inclusive football coaching, tailored to their needs and delivered by the passionate team at Hermes Juvenile FC. And after all that running about, they sat down to enjoy a free nutritious meal provided by ASV because we know that fuelling young bodies is just as important as encouraging active minds.
It was a week full of smiles, high fives, and friendships. But more than that, it was a celebration of what community sport is all about belonging, opportunity, and joy.
As a charitable organisation, ASV is committed to creating an inclusive space where every child can feel welcome, supported, and inspired. Camps like these are only possible thanks to the support of partners, volunteers, and our wider community including those who donate to help us continue our mission.
Every donation helps us deliver programmes like this one — helping local children access high-quality coaching, enjoy healthy meals, and discover the power of sport in a safe, supportive environment.
Together, we’re building more than athletes. We’re building confidence, connection, and community — one kick of the ball at a time.
Thank you to Hermes Juvenile FC, the Scottish FA, and Scottish Gas for helping bring this brilliant camp to life, and to every child who came along and made it so special. We can’t wait to welcome you back to ASV soon!
