Spreading Holiday Cheer with ASV Energisers
This holiday season, thanks to the generosity of Serica Energy, CNOOC International, Co-op King Street, and TESCO Pittodrie Esso Express, the ASV Energisers programme was able to bring some extra joy to local children. Their donation of 200 selection boxes made sure that every child and volunteer coach left with a smile and a festive treat, turning an ordinary day into something truly special.
At ASV, we understand that not all children have the same opportunities to access sports and essential services, especially with the ongoing cost-of-living challenges many families are facing. That's why the ASV Energisers programme offers more than just sport. Beyond free sports sessions, we provide:
- Hot meals for children and families in need.
- Showering facilities and Wi-Fi access to support their everyday lives.
Through these offerings, we're not only helping kids stay active, but also ensuring that they feel valued, supported, and connected—no matter their circumstances.
Reflecting on 2024, we’re proud of the 3,723 participations in the ASV Energisers programme. Our success is thanks to the incredible partnerships we have with local organisations like:

These partnerships have allowed us to make a significant difference in the lives of many children across Aberdeen, offering them a place to grow, learn, and connect through sport.
